Strange Cages

Brighton's Strange Cages describe themselves as a "garage/psych band with cruel intentions".

It's easy to see why. The band's deliciously evil sounds are reminiscent of the dark side of the '67 dream, haunted by the spectre of the flower children finally fading from bloom.

An epic live act, Strange Cages are fresh from a huge stint on the road where they supported the likes of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, The Warlocks and White Lung.

New single 'Pony' arrives on July 20th, and it's a neat slice of fuzzed up garage-pop. Golden melodies with a dark, dark heart, you can tune in below:
