Explosive punk rock fare with a UK slant...

It's forty years this summer since punk exploded on the shores of the UK, and it's shock-waves can be felt in every area of British life.

Still, though, the country can feel remarkably grey at times. This summer has been especially bland - shit weather, shit politics, and shit festivals.

Dead! are here to change all that. An explosive punk rock four piece with a uniquely British slant, and it's taking the country by storm.

New cut 'Something More Original' is a two fingered salute to the chin-strokers, to those who seek out innovation as a cost to the communication it has to the audience.

A riotous punk blaster that staggers across the three minute mark, it's all sludgy chords, lumpen drum beats and rama lama, helter skelter vocals.

“It’s about people who aren’t happy but who just sit around and don’t try to improve their situation,” says Alex. “Whether this band happens or whether we crumble, we’re fucking trying.”
