Flyte took off last year. Vocalist Will Taylor and keys player Sam Berridge uploaded a cover of Joni Mitchell’s ‘River’ to their Facebook page, and promptly went viral.
Over a million views followed, with Flyte rapidly building a series of tracks, stamping out a universe dominated by soothing yet emotive songwriting.
Mature, gilded artistry, Flyte recently went into the studio with producer Burke Reid to work on fresh material.
New cut 'Echoes' is the result. Dominated by soaring synths and that gently powerful rhythmic kick, it's already a sure-fire winner with fans.
Flyte explain: "We wanted to start with something thoughtful and introspective. 'Echoes' is a turning, twisting melody about trying to hold on to meaning, living in the afterglow of a significant moment in time."
Clash has obtained a new live video of 'Echoes', and it's a powerful, intimate performance. Each note seems to hit home, a patience display of potential fulfilled.
