The rumours are true: Jay Z is set to enter the streaming marketplace.
The rapper recently purchased the TIDAL brand, with the grand re-launch taking place last night (March 30th).
Amid some glitz and glamour, the streaming service was made live with support from the likes of Jack White, Daft Punk, Madonna, Rihanna, Alicia Keys and more.
Intriguingly, the musicians are said to be co-owners in the project – which specialises in ad-free, CD quality audio and video.
Now open for use, early TIDAL exclusives contain Alicia Keys' new album, a playlist curated by Beyonce, previously unavailable White Stripes footage, Daft Punk's 'Electroma' film and some Todd Rundgren material. Always, always Todd Rundgren.
