Clash readers decide...

Clash asked - and it's readers have spoken.

The celestial Debbie Harry turns 70 today (July 1st) and in her honour we asked you lot to send in your favourite Blondie track.

Punk cuts, new wave classics and disco gems were passed our way, alongside the occasional dalliance with reggae and hip-hop.

The final countdown relies heavily on some well known tracks, but perhaps that's not too unexpected - after all, Blondie were arguably the supreme singles band of their era. In fact, 1979 remains the highest selling year for singles in the UK - and Blondie's 'Heart Of Glass' was the second best selling single of the year.

Without further ado, here are your picks...

- - -

'Atomic' - as nominated by Tony Bennett (no, not that one)

'X Offender' - as nominated by Sue Bennett

'Heart Of Glass' (12 Inch Version) - as nominated by Kelly Wright

'Rip Her To Shreds' - as nominated by IJ Travis

'One Way Or Another' - as nominated by Rachel King

'Rapture' - as nominated by Teresa Campbell

'Dreaming' - as nominated by Robin Murray
