The Japanese label previews a new denim light collection.

Founded in 1991, on the London Fashion Week schedule by 2000: Evisu is the Japanese born, street culture bred denim brand with the back pocket seagull engrained in its history.

And it’s just released the first images of its AW15 line.

Titled ‘Grandslam’, the new collection poses a sports luxe (health goth erring, if you will), aesthetic, featuring approximately 1% denim…

Instead, this season the label has adorned itself with monochrome tones, bold lettering and multiple textures.

Said features are explored throughout the strong jacket line-up, courtesy of puffers, MA-1’s and long-line satin bombers; fitted denim styles and waterproof zip ups are elsewhere noted.

The styling here takes on a more contemporary approach, as ‘Grandslam’ arrives at territory previously claimed by labels like Hood by Air and KTZ.
