The Stones' iconic logo gets a new canvas.

As Shrimps designer Hannah Weiland no doubt discovered when she teamed up with Poplin for SS15 (here), people are big into pyjamas. Which is hardly surprising given that a, most of us can probably still remember our favourite set from way back when, and b, that one’s bed is oft considered the ultimate happy place.

Hoping – perhaps – to replicate the success of the aforementioned collaboration, London loungewear label Asceno this week has announced a new hook up with The Rolling Stones, quite a feat as far as band merch goes huh?

Launching next month in tandem with the band’s debut international exhibition (‘Exhibitionism’ opens at the Saatchi Gallery on 5th April ahead of globe travelling), Asceno’s new capsule line makes for a soft interpretation of the band’s iconic John Pasche designed lips and tongue logo, used elsewhere on Moncler garms and a dozen unofficial tour tees (probably).

“Working with the Rolling Stones’ team and the whole process of designing the capsule collection has been an absolute blast,” note founders Lauren Skerritt and Poppy Sexton-Wainwright, “We couldn’t be more pleased with the end result!”

All bright colours, silk textures and with a Warhol leaning aesthetic, the line-up of three pairs marries Skerritt and Sexton-Wainwright’s feminine luxury with a nod to Jagger and Co’s more risqué credentials.
