Snoop Dogg, Stormzy, Dev Hynes and more feature.

While in a matter of hours Donald and Melania Trump are expected to take to the floor to ‘My Way’, the latest short from adidas Originals offers a far more progressive – and by all accounts better welcomed – tribute to the late Frank Sinatra.

Played out to a remix of the 1969 track, ‘Original is Never Finished’ sees the sports megabrand collaborate with a strong cast of contemporary visionaries who hail from the worlds of music, skate, sport, style and art, all in the name of ingenuity.

Musicians Snoop Dogg, Mabel and Clash cover star Stormzy all feature in the video, above, while elsewhere the line-up boasts Dev Hynes dancing in front of an Es Devlin alike mirrored set, and Petra Collins recreating Botticelli’s Birth of Venus.

“Everything we do for adidas Originals is a work in progress, as true creativity is never finished,” offers Alegra O’Hard – VP of Global Comms for adidas Originals & Core – of the film's concept, which centres on the idea of reinterpretation. “We are constantly challenging ourselves and breaking down the boundaries that limit imagination; we hope to inspire all creators to do the same.”
